School bus cancellations Nov. 16

Weather and poor road conditions are wreaking havoc on school bus routes throughout central Alberta today.

School buses are not running for all rural routes in the Red Deer Catholic Regional School Division today, including Innisfail routes but all schools are open, including St Marguerite school. 

In Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Olds and Rocky Mountain House the schools are open but the buses are cancelled.

All buses are cancelled in Chinook’s Edge School Division for the entire day due to the weather conditions but the schools are open.

Wolf Creek Public Schools will not be operating school buses today and all schools in the division will be closed.

Elsewhere, Rimbey Christian School is closed today due to weather.

And all routes with the Wild Rose School Division are cancelled today due to the poor weather and road conditions.
