Crash near Millet claims two

A second female driver has died as a result of injuries sustained in a November 15 collision near Millet.

Shortly after 6:32 p.m., RCMP with EMS, Fire, County Peace Officer and Sheriffs attended a two vehicle crash on Highway 2A.

Mounties say a van travelling south on Highway 2A collided with a car travelling north.  The 68-year-old female driver of the car was pronounced deceased on scene.

The 22-year-old driver and 15-year-old passenger in the van were both transported to hospitals, where later in the evening the driver succumbed to her injuries.  The 15-year-old female passenger remains in hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

An RCMP collision analyst attended the collision scene, and the investigation into the cause of this collision remains ongoing.
