ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE- RCMP have released the following report for the week of November 8-15

2018-11-08 at 12:16 P.M. – Theft from a motor vehicle while parked at a residence in Rocky. Tools, a camera, and a computer were stolen. 

2018-11-08 at 11:02 P.M. – Vandalism reported to an ATM machine at a local bar.

2018-11-09 at 5:15 A.M. – 911 call of an attempted Break & Enter to residence on O’Chiese First Nation. Complainant yelled at unknown subjects who left the premises.  Police attended and ensured the residence was secured and nobody was around.

2018-11-09 at 10:55 A.M. – Suspicious grey car, covered in mud, in the area of Twp Rd 38-0 and SecHwy 761.

2018-11-09 at 2:45 P.M. – Report of an employee theft from a Rocky business. Money stolen from till.

2018-11-09 at 4:43 P.M. – Threats received on Facebook. 

2018-11-09 at 7:32 P.M. – B&E to residence on Sunchild First Nation Reserve. Under investigation.

2018-11-10 at 7:49 A.M. – Noise complaint at residence in Rocky. Police attended and the parties agreed to keep the noise down.

2018-11-10 at 9:49 A.M. – B&E to shed at a location in Leslieville. Power tools stolen and fuel out of a truck.

2018-11-10 at 10:26 A.M. – Report of a vehicle going in the ditch on the Sunchild Road. Police attended and arrested the female driver who had outstanding warrants and no driver’s licence.

2018-11-10 at 7:20 P.M. – Report of a man, high on drugs, throwing things around at a residence on the O’Chiese First Nation Reserve. Police attended and arrested the individual who had outstanding warrants.

2018-11-11 at 7:55 A.M. – 2016 black Dodge pickup, with flames on the side, stolen from a location on Hwy 54 near Caroline.

2018-11-11 at 11:39 A.M. – Two chainsaws and a Mig Welder stolen from shop overnight at residence on Range Road 6-4 and Twp Rd 36-3 in Clearwater County.

2018-11-12 at 00:29 A.M. – Call of a suspicious vehicle in a back alley on the north side of Rocky. Police attended and arrested the driver who was breaching his conditions. He also could not provide a driver’s licence, insurance, nor registration. Cocaine and meth were found in the vehicle. Vehicle towed.

2018-11-12 at 4:51 A.M. – Report of a suspicious pickup truck near apartments on 60 Street in Rocky. Police attended and arrested a man and a woman and female who were in possession of the stolen vehicle from Mayerthorpe. Charges were laid.

2018-11-13 at 9:21 A.M. – Report of a trapper’s cabin broken into in the Harlech area of Clearwater County.  Locks were broken on the steel guard gate. A C-Can container was broken into as well. Deer mounts, a TV, a game camera, alcohol, and wolf traps were stolen.

2018-11-13 at 3:07 P.M. – Report of a Hit & Run on Highway 11 and 52 Avenue in Rocky. Driver was stopped at the red lights when she was rear-ended by a “jacked-up” Dodge pickup truck driven by a young man with a ball cap. He fled the scene.

2018-11-13 at 5:27 P.M. – Abandoned vehicle reported in Caroline. Reported stolen from Red Deer.
