Fortunately, no one was hurt after a school bus was rear-ended by another vehicle on Highway 11A near Rocky Mountain House Wednesday morning.

Brad Volkman, Superintendent for the Wild Rose School Division confirms there were four people on board.

“The bus was making a left-hand turn and someone from behind rear-ended the bus,” he explains. “We had three students on the bus and none of them were injured, nor was our driver. We contacted parents and got another bus out there so the driver could finish their route.”

Volkman says the incident is another reminder to always pay attention on the roads.
