Rocky Mountain House RCMP Weekly Report: Oct. 11-18

Rocky Mountain House RCMP have released the following report for the week of October 11-18.
 

10-18 at 2:40 P.M. – Complaint of an assault after the complainant got sprayed in the face with bleach by a person in the Caroline area.  Under investigation.  Charges pending.

10-18 at 4:27 P.M. – Complaint of an unknown person banging on the doors and ringing the door bell of a residence in Clearwater County.  Subject did leave.

10-18 at 4:50 P.M. – 911 call of a possible impaired driver on SecHwy #752 driving a greyish/blue dirty car.  Car almost hit the bridge and was swerving all over the road.

10-18 at 7:36 P.M. – Theft of skid steer from a location at Range Road 6-2 & Twp Rd 37-0, Clearwater County.

10-18 at 10:05 P.M. – B&E to a shed at residence in Caroline.

10-18 at 22:22 P.M. – Call of an intoxicated person at a local RMH restaurant.  Police attended and arrested the individual who was released when sober

10-19 at 1:41 A.M. – Complaint of an assault at residence in Clearwater County.  Police attended and arrested the adult male.  Charges pending.

10-19 at 5:28 A.M. – 911 call of a suspicious male in grey sweatpants and black hoodie going through the neighbor’s car in RMH with a garbage bag.

10-19 at 7:45 A.M. – Theft of a 2000 tan FORD F250 extended cab stolen from residence in RMH overnight.  Recovered in Blackfalds.

10-19 at 2:03 P.M. – An adult male subject, known to police, was observed driving a pickup truck without stopping at a stop sign in RMH.  The driver tried to allude police by driving down an alley and ditching the vehicle which turned out to have been stolen.  He fled on foot and ran into a residence.  A warrant was obtained and the subject was arrested.  A JIR was held and the subject was released on a Recognizance for a later court date.

10-19 at 6:15 P.M. – 911 call of a stolen vehicle in Caroline.  Vehicle located by the complainant a short time later but wallet was missing.

10-20 at 2:52 A.M. – Call received advising of a male and female arguing on the side of a highway in Clearwater County.  Police attended and arrested the male who had outstanding warrants for his arrest and was on conditions not to have contact with the female.  He was released on cash bail for a later court date.

10-20 at 8:48 A.M. – Attempted theft of a pickup truck at a residence in Caroline.  Door lock broken and ignition damaged.  Truck equipped with key FOB causing truck to shut down when thieves tried to steal it.

10-20 at 6:42 A.M. – Attempted theft of vehicle in RMH. Complainant observed a male in his truck and then fleeing with other suspects in a black FORD F350.  Driver door locks were punched out and ignition smashed.

10-20 at 8:48 A.M. – 911 call of a stolen pickup truck in Caroline, a red 1994 DODGE Ram which was recovered in the Breton area.

10-20 at 3:10 P.M. Stolen gold 2004 GMC Sierrra diesel pickup truck stolen from residence on O’Chiese First Nation Reserve overnight. (Alberta licence plate BYT-8506)

10-20 at 5:02 P.M. – 911 call of an assault with weapon on O’Chiese First Nation Reserve.  Intoxicated male with stab wound refused to cooperative with police.  He was transported to the hospital by EMS.  Under investigation.

10-21 at 1:26 A.M. – Police stopped a vehicle leaving a bar in RMH.  The driver was arrested for “Impaired Driving” and provided samples over the legal limit.  Charges pending for a later court date.

10-21 at3:33 A.M. – 911 call of an impaired driver on Hwy #11 after first call prior from Blackfalds detachment.  Vehicle located by Rocky members who stopped the vehicle and arrested the female driver who refused to provide breath samples.  Charges pending for a later court date.

10-21 at 8:48 A.M. – Break & Enter to cottage overnight on Range Road 8-5A and Twp Rd 35-3 Clearwater County.  Lock cut off gate to property

10-21 at 1:32 P.M. – Report of damage to locks and ignition to pickup truck in Caroline over the weekend.  Complainant had removed the batteries prior to the attempted theft of the truck.

10-21 at 2:03 P.M. – Report of an assault with a weapon reported on the O’Chiese First Nation Reserve.  The victim was taken to the hospital by EMS.  The suspect fled the scene and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

10-21 at 3:19 P.M. – Theft of a black & light blue Triumph BMX bicycle stolen from residence in RMH.

10-21 at 4:59 P.M. – Suspicious dirty, dark color, regular cab, early 2000’s, DODGE Ram in the area of Range Road 6-4 & Twp Rd 39-4 Clearwater County. 

10-21 at 5:58 P.M. – Report of very intoxicated individuals in a RMH liquor store and then leaving in a dark blue Chev car.

10-22 at 6:55 A.M. – 911 call of a theft of a FORD F350 pickup truck stolen from a work site, west of RMH at Range Road 8-2 & Hwy #11.  The truck had GPS tracking on it and police recovered the abandoned vehicle on the Sunchild First Nation Reserve.

10-22 at 10:13 A.M. – Complaint of mail fraud as complainant advised someone had her mail forwarded to an address in Montreal without her consent.

10-22 at 10:53 A.M. –Stolen DODGE Ram recovered on O’Chiese First Nation Reserve.  It had been stolen October 8 from a gas station in Drayton Valley.

10-22 at 12:45 P.M. – Theft of a black 2015 Chevrolet Malibu stolen from a residence on O’Chiese First Nation Reserve.  (Alberta licence plate BZT4546)

10-22 at 2:51 P.M. – B&E to shop on SecHwy #734 over the weekend.  $15,000 – $20,000 worth of items stolen including a 2004 red HONDA 125 cc motorbike.

10-22 at 8:54 P.M. – Report of a suspicious, possibly stolen blue Yamaha quad in the backyard of a residence in Caroline.  Suspects left the quad and took off when confronted by a citizen.  A black Audi car was stopped by police and towed after it was determined that the driver was suspended.  Vehicle and quad towed

10-22 at 11:13 P.M. – Report of an intoxicated male at a residence in RMH.  Police located the subject on the deck stumbling around. Arrested and RWS.

10-22 at 11:30 P.M. – Vehicle taken without owner’s consent from residence on O’Chiese First Nation.  Adult male suspect found sleeping in vehicle in Drayton Valley.  Charged accordingly.

10-23 at 7:37 A.M. – Complaint of an unknown male sleeping at RMH convenience store all night.  Police attended and spoke to the individual who had no where to spend the night.  Advised to move on. 

10-23 at 9:50 A.M. – Report of vandalism at RMH sports center

10-23 at 10:58 A.M. – Report of an abandoned trailer near residence on Range Road 5-3 & SecHwy #598 Clearwater County.  Police attended and confirmed that it had been stolen earlier from Sundre.  Towed and RO advised.

10-23 at 2:49 P.M. – Boxes found by landowner on property in Clearwater County, west of Caroline.  Items include small cash dispenser and an Interac safe.   Under investigation.

10-24 at 2:34 P.M. – Suspicious vehicle drove up complainant’s yard on Range Road 8-4 at Twp Rd 40-3 Clearwater County.  Described as a dark grey DODGE pickup with a flat deck with two occupants.

10-24 at 4:07 P.M. – Stolen pickup truck reported from parking lot of local RMH fuel station 2 days ago.  2001 silver DODGE Sport ( Alberta licence plate BCV5903)

10-24 at 8:29 P.M. – Shoplifting complaint from RMH liquor store.  Male suspect fled in a grey Chev Colorado (Alberta licence plate BTC1886) which had been stolen out of Red Deer

10-25 at 00:16 A.M. – Report of an attempted theft and assault which occurred in Sylvan Lake area.  Suspects took off in a vehicle and was apprehended by Rocky RCMP on SecHwy #591.  There was open liquor and drugs in the vehicle.  3 suspects were arrested.  Charges pending.
