Missing Ponoka County man found deceased

The search for a missing Ponoka County man has come to a sad end.

Rimbey RCMP are confirming that William Harris, 57, was located deceased on Tuesday.

Harris was reported missing on Oct. 17 and had last spoken with family members on Oct. 5.

“The RCMP are continuing the investigation into his death and there is no determination about any criminality at this time,” says Corporal Laurel Scott with Alberta RCMP Media Relations.

RCMP are thanking the public for their help in searching for Harris.
