Manmeet Singh Bhullar Park opens in Calgary

CALGARY- A city park has been named to honour an MLA who died while helping a stranded motorist on the QE2 highway near Red Deer.
Manmeet Singh Bhullar Park in Taradale is five hectares in size and features a number of picnic tables for large gatherings.
Bhullar was struck by a semi that lost control on some ice on the QE2 in 2015.
Thousands of people attended Bhullar’s funeral.
