Road closure on 48 Avenue this week

A road closure will be in effect at 48 Avenue between 49 Street and 50 Street (Ross St.) this Wednesday.

Starting at 10:30 a.m., the closure will occur in order to accommodate a scheduled water valve replacement at City Hall. The road is expected to reopen midday Thursday.  
 
Drivers can detour using 49 Avenue or 47 Avenue. 
 
In addition, there will be a lane closure in the north curb lane on 49 Street at 48 Avenue.   
 
Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction zones and obey all signs, and pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks. 
 
All road construction is weather dependent and schedules may be subject to change.
