CALGARY – After some sober second thought the City of Calgary has snuffed out the idea of allowing people to use marijuana in four designated public areas once cannabis becomes legal next month.

Why?

The city says because of the amount of public backlash.

In some cases people put up signs on some of the proposed areas saying “Don’t Doob It” and “Weed Rather Not.”
