Young Guns Golf raises $102,000 for local charities

The Young Guns Charity Golf Tournament Organizing Committee is happy to report another successful year of fundraising.

With their 16th annual event, Young Guns raised $102,000 to be donated back to 25 local Central Alberta charitable organizations:

Calgary Flames Foundation, Stollery Children’s Hospital, Sylvan Lake Tigers, Red Deer Minor Hockey, Sylvan Lake Minor Hockey, The Mustard Seed, Red Deer Food Bank, Sylvan Lake Food Bank, Kidsport Sylvan Lake, Kidsport Red Deer, Innisfail Minor Hockey, Red Deer Hospice Society, Smiles Thru Lindsey Foundation, Scouts Canada, Special Olympics, The Lending Cupboard, Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre, Fox Run School Lunch Program, Dreams Take Flight, Red Deer Regional Hospital Scholarship Program, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Hockey Alberta, Ryan Vandervlis, Ryan Mcbeath, Vantage Community Services.

This year’s event was held July 25 and 26 at Bo’s Bar and Grill and Alberta Springs Golf Course.
