THEFTS, IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED

Drayton Valley RCMP say on August 9 at 8:10 a.m. in Brazeau County a report came in of a theft from locked field office.  Several items were stolen including a laptop.  Suspects pulled off metal doors on windows to gain access.  Attempted to pull the doors off Seacans as well.

At 7:51 p.m. at Canadian Tire a report came in of a theft of a ride on lawn mower and trailer.  Gate had been cut to gain access.

At 8:01 p.m. at 7-11 a report was received of a possible impaired driver in older red dodge truck.  Observed doing a U turn on a lawn, swerved and almost hit two vehicles.  Members attended and located vehicle.  Driver was arrested for impaired driving.

ONE INJURED AFTER VEHICLE LAUNCHED OFF HIGHWAY

On August 10 At 10:32 p.m. on Highway 22 in Brazeau County a report came in of a single vehicle launched off the highway and is in the ditch in the bushes.  Fire, EMS and RCMP attended.  1 male in vehicle transported to hospital with minor injuries.   Vehicle suffered extensive damage.

THEFT FROM HOME

On August 11 just before 11 a.m. on 46 Avenue a report came in of a theft of a BBQ and propane tank from residence overnight.

GAS TANK DRILLED INTO

On August 12 just after 2 p.m. in Tomahawk a report came in that someone drilled a hole into the gas tank of their 2018 Dodge Rebel. 

IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED, TRUCK BROKEN INTO

On August 13 at 2:48 a.m. on 50 Street a member on patrol conducted traffic stop on grey ford escape.  Driver arrested for impaired driving. 

At 9:16 a.m. on 56 Avenue at Retro Oilfield Services a complainant reported someone broke into the locked yard and stole a 2005 white King Ranch with copper stripe along the bottom of the truck.  Vehicle has a Billet Ford Chrome grill and bug deflector on the hood.  Child seat in the back. 

VEHICLE STOLEN

On August 14 at 8:07 p.m. at Westwinds Motor Inn a report came in of a theft of a black Dodge Dakota stolen from parking lot.

LEASE SITE THEFT, UTILITY TRAILER STOLEN, VEHICLE STOLEN

On August 15 at 12:13 a.m. on 39 Avenue a report came in of an attempt to break into a white avalanche.  Suspects left towards the clinic, described as tall, slender wearing a black hoodie, black joggers with white.

At 10:27 a.m. on 49 Street a complainant reported that someone broke the passenger side widow of their Ford F150 and stole a black and blue backpack with safety glasses and a touch screen controller.

At 2:18 p.m. in Brazeau County a report of a theft from a lease site.  Entry gained through a man gate.  Once inside thieves stole a large piece of de-energized cable along with some ground wire.

At 3:18 p.m. on 34 Avenue a report came in of a theft of a utility trailer which was parked in the east side parking lot. 

At 9:13 p.m. on 50 Street a report of a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, Grey in color stolen from the parking lot at the Cardium Theater.
