Crash north of Edmonton kills two

MORINVILLE- Two people are dead following a collision on Monday evening at a rural intersection north of Edmonton.

Morinville RCMP say a westbound SUV struck a southbound car at the intersection of Highway 37 and Highway 44 at about 8 p.m.

Both people in the car, a man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people in the SUV escaped the crash without injury.

No names or ages have been released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
