UPDATE [Located]: Rocky woman missing near Golden, B.C

A Rocky Mountain House woman who was reported missing in B.C. over the weekend has been located.

Golden RCMP confirmed Wednesday morning that Sheila Scrutton has been found, saying the 73-year-old is “safe and sound.”

Scrutton was reported missing on Sunday. She was last seen on Saturday, leaving Kinbasket Lake in the Golden, B.C., area.

She was camping in the area when she went missing, which police said was out of character for her.
