Search underway for man presumed dead after fall at Brazeau Reservoir

A searched resumed Saturday morning for the body of a man presumed dead after falling into the Brazeau Reservoir near Drayton Valley Friday morning. 

Rocky Mountain House RCMP received a call around 4:30 a.m. Friday to the Brazeau Reservoir after a man fell over the edge after climbing up on the guard rail of the reservoir in the early hours of the morning. 

Brazeau Regional Search and Rescue along with Clearwater County Fire, and Conservation Enforcement completed an extensive search of the reservoir and North Saskatchewan River throughout the day yesterday. 

Drayton Valley RCMP briefly assisted Rocky Mountain House as well until more resources arrived.
