Separate accidents on Alberta highways claim four lives

PEACE RIVER- Separate highway accidents on Tuesday have left four people dead.

RCMP say two people died and two others were sent to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 2 west of Peace River.

Details about the victims or the cause of the crash have not been released.

Near Winfield a two vehicle crash killed a 19-year-old woman.

An SUV and a semi collided at the intersection of Highways 13 and 20.

The woman driving the SUV was killed, the driver of the semi was not hurt. 

Wetaskiwin RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

High Prairie RCMP and Emergency Services responded to a single vehicle roll over collision on Highway 750 in community of Grouard.

A northbound car crossed the centre line, went into the ditch on the opposite side, and rolled onto it’s roof.

The lone occupant, a 48-year-old man from McLennan, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
