Wetaskiwin RCMP seek alleged kidnapping suspect

WETASKIWIN- Following an alleged kidnapping last week in Wetaskiwin and the arrest of three suspects in Edmonton, Wetaskiwin RCMP have laid charges and are seeking the whereabouts of a fifth suspect.

RCMP say on July 25 an injured woman was held inside the trunk of a vehicle before she managed to escape and get help at a nearby car wash. Mounties say the woman told them she had been kidnapped and attacked by someone with a gun before she got away and ran to a car and truck wash in Wetaskiwin on Wednesday.

On July 26, three suspects were arrested and taken into custody at a residence in Edmonton. The suspect vehicle was seized for forensic examination. A fourth suspect was identified and arrested on July 27 in Wetaskiwin.

Evan Chase Francis Rain, 24, Alexandra Louise Rain, 20, Lynita Sinead Buffalo, 22, and Kayla Tiffany Wildflower Saddleback, 31, are all facing charges of kidnapping with a firearm, pointing a firearm and assault causing bodily harm.

Catlin Owen Ermineskin, 27, has not been located by the RCMP. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. He faces charges of kidnapping with a firearm, pointing a firearm and assault causing bodily harm as well as two counts of failing to comply with conditions.

Ermineskin is described as:

          First Nations
          5’10” tall and 150 lbs
