Woman who fell from ceiling sentenced to 15 days

SPRUCE GROVE- A woman captured on video plunging from the ceiling of a Spruce Grove convenience store during a holdup attempt has been sentenced to 15 days in jail.
Brittany Burke, 29, was sentenced after she was convicted of obstructing a peace officer, breaching conditions and mischief damage under $5000.
Burke received credit for time served and will not be going back behind bars.
The in-store surveillance video — which later went viral — showed Burke falling onto some store shelves after she hid in the ceiling when RCMP arrived at the holdup scene earlier this summer.
