Sylvan Lake Pirates dock their ship in Bentley for 2018-19

SYLVAN LAKE-  The Sylvan Lake Pirates of the North Central Hockey League will be playing their inaugural season in Bentley.

A news release from the team states they were unable to secure any exclusive ice times in Sylvan to accomodate their weekend home game schedule.

As a result, home games will be played out of Bentley, while the NexSource Centre will be used for practices.

The team remains hopeful that it will be able to secure some ice in Sylvan Lake at the NexSource Centre as it gets closer to the registration periods for other municipal user groups.

With the last month of summer on the horizon, the team will be making announcements shortly on training camp, and their official NCHL schedule.
