STARS called to three separate incidents in central Alberta Saturday
Three people were taken to hospital with traumatic injuries in three separate incidents on Saturday that required the assistance of STARS.
The first happened around 7:00 a.m. on July 14 when crews were called to a rural railroad crossing about five miles northeast of Lacombe to take a patient to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton following a train vs pedestrian collision.
A STARS spokesperson says the age and gender of the victim was not available, nor was the condition of the patient.
Later, around 4:00 p.m. a man in his 20’s was flown by STARS to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary in critical condition following a skydiving accident at the Innisfail Airport.
