CALGARY- Police say they’re reviewing a third of the 263 sexual assault reports they received between January and March of this year.
The review is part of what police say is their new approach to unfounded assaults.
Officials say there’s a possibility that some of the 89 cases being checked this week could be reopened.
Calgary is the first city outside of Ontario to participate in the federally funded pilot program.
