RDC extends Donald School of Business lease for next decade

Jul 12, 2018 | 11:08 AM

RDC’s Donald School of Business will continue at its current downtown location for at least the next ten years.

The college announced Thursday they’ve extended their lease at the Millennium Centre (4909 49 Street), which has been home to the Donald School of Business since it opened for 2011-12 academic year.

Officials say renewing the lease allows RDC to continue meeting the needs of students, business professionals and central Alberta communities.

“The College’s strategic move to open a downtown campus seven years ago, housing our diverse business programs, has been a great success,” says Joel Ward, RDC President & CEO. “I appreciate how engaged the local business community has been with providing invaluable learning opportunities for our students.”

The Donald School of Business offers a variety of programs, including: Administrative Professional Certificate, Bachelor of Business Administration Collaborative Degree, Business Administration Diploma, Bachelor of Commerce Degree (first and second year), Health Care Management Post-Diploma Certificate, Human Resources Management Graduate Certificate, Legal Assistant Diploma, Management Certificate and Unit Clerk Certificate.

The decision to renew the lease was made by Ward and recently approved by the RDC Board of Governors.
