New 4-Way Stop to improve intersection safety and handle Buffalo Lake traffic

STETTLER- A new 4-Way Stop is being installed by Alberta Transportation at the intersection of Highway 835 and Township Road 40-2 this week.

Installation is expected to be completed today.

The County of Stettler’s Municipal Planning Commission approved a Development Permit application for Paradise Shores RV Resort at their June 27 meeting.

As part of preparing an area structure plan, the developer provided a Traffic Impact Assessment prepared by a transportation engineer.

The assessment found that Highway 835, Township Road 40-2 and Range Road 20-4 are a suitable route to provide access to the proposed development.
