UPDATE: Mounties no longer searching for Clayton Paul Gopher

UPDATE [JULY 9] – Ponoka Mounties say they are no longer searching for Gopher and are thanking the public for their assistance. No further details were provided.

Mounties in Ponoka are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 33-year-old man.

Clayton Paul Gopher was last seen at the Centennial Centre in Ponoka on July 7 at approximately 8:44 p.m. where it is believed he hired a taxi and travelled to downtown Red Deer.

It is believed that Gopher may be in the Red Deer and has ties in to Rocky Mountain House and O’Chiese First Nation area.

Gopher is described as:

– First Nations
– 5’9″ tall
– 170 lbs
– Brown hair
– Brown eyes
– Last seen wearing gray shorts, red t-shirt, and flip-flops.
