Playoff decides Innisfail Junior Open

Chase Bodoano birdied the first playoff hole to win Tuesday’s Innisfail Junior Open.

It was the first victory on the McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour for the 18-year-old from Sherwood Park as he edged Broadmoor golf clubmate Mitch Desjarlais. 

The players had tied for first with scores of 78 in windy, rainy conditions on one of the most difficult courses in Alberta.

Anthony Chatwood from the host Innisfail Golf Club finished tied for fourth with a score of 82. Ponoka’s Noah Hackett tied for ninth with an 89.
