With intentions of ramping up their intensity for the second half of the regular season, the Red Deer Riggers did exactly that by swinging for the fences in a 15-2 rout of the Tigers in St. Albert on Friday.
The win gives the Riggers a 5-3 record on their Senior Men’s AAA Baseball season so far and leaves them in second place in the Sunburst Baseball League, four points back of the league-leading Confederation Park Cubs.
The Riggers next action will be July 4 at Centennial Park in Sherwood Park against the A’s.
