Rampage remain in first place following weekend split

The Red Deer Rampage split a pair of weekend games in Jr. B Tier 1 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League action.

The Rampage came up short Friday night, dropping a 10-6 road decision to the Calgary Chill.

Dawson Reykdal notched three goals for Red Deer while Riley Woytas, Teren Christensen and Elijah Johanson each had one goal and one assist.

Sunday afternoon, the Rampage faced the Calgary Mountaineers and came out on top by a score of 9-6.

Reykdal netted another hat trick while Christensen and Sheridan Cook each added a goal and three assists.

The Rampage sit in first place in the Central Division with 26 points (13 wins, two losses). They have five games left with their next home game this Friday, June 29 at the Kinex at 9:00 p.m. versus the Olds Mavericks.
