TWO MEN ARRESTED 

Drayton Valley RCMP say on June 16 just after 4 a.m. on 48 Avenue in Drayton Valley members were on patrol when they observed a vehicle matching the description of one that fled from police parked in a driveway.  A licence plate showed stolen out of Red Deer.  The owner of the residence approached police and stated that he had heard a noise and that he didn’t know how the vehicle got to his driveway.  

At 4:32 a.m. on 50 Avenue, while on patrol for suspects involved in the stolen vehicle recovered from Red Deer, members came across two males.  One male provided a false name to police, both males were arrested for obstruction.  One male was also arrested for possession of Methamphetamine. 

THEFT FROM VEHICLE, MVC, BREAK AND ENTER

On June 17 at 10:47 a.m. on 44 Avenue a report came in of a theft of a wallet from a unlocked vehicle sometime over night.  Wallet is a black trifold wallet which contained identification and credit cards.  

Just before 1 p.m. on Range Road 70 in Brazeau County a report came in of a collision between a side by side and a dirt bike.  One person ejected, one has a broken leg.  Members attended, 1 person transported to Edmonton hospital. 

At 6:51 p.m. on 54 Street a complainant reported that someone was attempting to break into Wrangler Locating.  Members attended and located complainant and a male suspect who was arrested for trespassing and several breach of conditions.  Held for a Hearing. 

MULTIPLE THEFTS, ASSAULT

On June 18 at 6:20 a.m. on 47 Street a report came in of a 2013 Chevy Silverado, gold or silver, black fender flares being stolen.  Complainant has both sets of keys. 

At 8:38 a.m. in the Lodgepole area Obsidian Energy reported a theft of grounding wire from 4 pump jacks and test Separator Building.  Damage may exceed $5000.

At 10:13 a.m. in Brazeau County Vermillion Energy reported the theft of copper wire from 2 pump jacks.  Approximate loss $1000.

At 1:57 p.m. near  Cynthia Barmac reported the  theft of 2 way radios from grader at log storage area.

At 5:37 p.m. at the  Econorest in Drayton Valley a report came in from the Drayton Valley hospital that a patient had been punched in the face by a neighbor.  Members attended and obtained statement, 22 Chambry HORNETT arrested for outstanding warrants.

MISCHIEF, MULTIPLE THEFTS

On June 19 just before 7:30 a.m. on 67 Street a report came in of 3 mechanics trucks broken into. All were locked.  

At 9:32 a.m. in Brazeau County a report came in of the theft of copper wire from sub station.  Approximately $2000 damage.

At 9:42 a.m. on 44 Street a report was received of 4 garbage cans being found behind a residence.  None of the bins belong to the residence.  Further queries indicate that the garbage bins had been reported stolen. 

At 2:44 p.m. at Wal Mart a report came in of a theft from a vehicle of fuel.  Suspects drilled a hole in gas tank of vehicle.  Suspect is a male wearing glasses, black t shirt, red shorts.  Suspect vehicle is a small black car.  Left parking lot heading south on Power Center Boulevard.  Members made extensive patrols, however vehicle not located.  Matter is still under investigation. 

At 7:48 p.m. at OK Tire a report came in of a theft of truck sometime over the past three hours.  Vehicle recovered in Rimbey area.

At 10:42 p.m. on 52 Avenue a report was received of the theft of tools from vehicle.  Tools were in a locked tool box and lock was broken.  Other items stolen include campfire stove, axes crowbars and a black Stanley locket set.  Suspects were 3 males riding bicycles.
