Drayton Valley schools rank well in Alberta

Drayton Valley elementary and high schools are among the best in the province according to a new report.

The annual Fraser Institute Report Card is out showing both Drayton Christian and Holy Trinity Academy placing within the top 100 elementary and high schools in Alberta.

For elementary schools St. Anthony, Aurora, Drayton Christian and Eldorado placed within the top 50 per cent. The lowest ranked school was Evergreen Elementary, placing 738th out of 819. 

Frank Maddock High School’s rating dropped slightly, from 5.8 to 5.6. Out of 262 high schools in the province, FMHS is ranked 161. Holy Trinity Academy was bumped up from a 6.3 to a 6.5, placing 99.
