MEDICINE HAT- A vicious thunderstorm on Saturday night knocked out power for thousands of customers in Medicine Hat.
Wind speeds were clocked at more than 100-kilometres per hour and toppled trees all across the city.
The trees took down power poles and close to 7,000 residents were without electricity at the storm’s peak.
The Medicine Hat College, Southview, Crestwood, and Southwest Hill neighbourhoods, were among the hardest hit.
