Youth charged in Evansburg after making school threats

A youth was arrested Thursday for allegedly making threats involving an Evansburg high school.

The youth has been charged with one count of uttering threats, according to an RCMP news release. 

Evansburg RCMP say they were notified on Wednesday of an incident where threats were uttered at the Grand Trunk High School.

An immediate investigation was conducted and a 15 year old male student was identified as the culprit and has been charged. 

The youth, who cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is due in Evansburg Provincial Court on June 25.
