Woman charged for trafficking drugs at Innisfail bar

Mounties in Innisfail say they’ve wrapped up a two-month drug trafficking investigation by issuing charges against a 31-year-old Central Alberta woman.

Police say the investigation was in relation to drug trafficking activities at the Zoo Bar in Innisfail and was conducted by the Innisfail Detachment General Investigation Section and Red Deer ALERT.

Daziree Bertin has been charged with one count of drug trafficking under the controlled drugs and substances act and is set to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on July 26.
