A tough run of injuries hasn’t stopped the Red Deer Rampage from finding the win column early in their Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League season.

The Junior B Tier 1 squad was without six starting players Sunday when they took on the North Division leading Edmonton Warriors. Red Deer trailed 6-4 at half-time before rallying to pull out a 9-7 win.

Riley Woytas lead the scoring for the Rampage with two goals and five assists.  Sheridan Cook helped with two goals and 1 assist while Dawson Reykdal added two more goals.

Last Thursday, the Rampage went to Olds to play against the Mavericks and came home with a 13-5 win. The Rampage were led by Cook and Jayden Reschny with three goals and one assist each.
