Two injured in rollover crash south of Drayton Valley

Two people were injured in a single motor vehicle rollover south of Drayton Valley on Saturday morning. 

Drayton Valley RCMP said they were dispatched at approximately 3:00 am on May 19 along with EMS and the Drayton Valley Fire Department to a single motor vehicle rollover collision near Range Road 83 in Brazeau County. 

Police said the vehicle was travelling north on Range Road 83, lost control on a corner and rolled several times before coming to a stop. 

A 19-year-old male and a 20-year-old female from the vehicle were taken to hospital by ground ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. 

STARS was initially called, however cancelled after EMS attended and assessed the level of injury.

Police are currently investigating the collision, however alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
