May 14, 2018 | 11:59 AM

Charges have been withdrawn for a man accused in a shooting incident at a home in north Red Deer last year.

Hol Dominick Garang, 26, was facing six firearms-related charges along with two counts of assault with weapon and one count of mischief in relation to an incident that took place on March 7, 2017.

Red Deer RCMP were called to home in the Mustang Acres trailer park just after 1 p.m. that afternoon after reports of gunshots being fired at a residence near 68 Street and 59 Avenue. Two adults were inside the residence at the time but no one was injured.

At the time, police said the accused and the occupants of the home were known to each other.
