Thunder Country Trampoline & Gymnastics Club earns first in Trampoline Team Event at Provincials

It was a strong showing for Red Deer’s Thunder Country Trampoline and Gymnastics Club at the Alberta Provincial Trampoline and Tumbling Championships held in Calgary over the weekend.

In the Team Event, Thunder Country Trampoline came out on top, winning the first place trophy.

The club’s total medal count breaks down as follows: 13 Gold, 4 Silver and 6 Bronze for a total of 23 medals.

Other highlights include Thunder Country athletes Taelum Henfrey and Cody Cyman being named to the Alberta team to attend the Western Canada Cup in Regina June 1 – 3.

Also, several Thunder Country athletes were named to the Alberta team to attend the Canadian National Championships taking place in Lethbridge July 4-9.
