EDMONTON- A charge of criminal negligence has been laid after a was seriously burned by fireworks.
Relatives of Wayne Campbell say the 62-year-old man was on his porch at a south-end group home on Monday when he was struck by fireworks set off by a group of people.
His brother, Bryon Newman, says Campbell has a high tolerance for pain and didn’t realize his leg was burning.
Newman says his brother will require skin grafting, but amputation is possible if infection sets in.
