Remains of B.C. man found in Banff National Park one year after disappearance
WHISTLER- RCMP have confirmed that the remains of a 22-year-old British Columbia man who vanished more than a year ago have been found in Alberta.
Mounties say the remains of William “Willy” Lynskey of Whistler were found last week in Banff National Park.
Lynskey’s family has posted a note on a Facebook page set up during the search for him, confirming that police have notified them of his death.
His remains were found on April 25 in an area of Banff National Park close to Lake Minnewanka, shortly after trails reopened this spring.
