SHOPLIFTING

Drayton Valley RCMP say on April 26 just before 3 p.m. at Warehouse One in Drayton Valley a report was received of theft of clothing.  Male left the store with an armful of jeans and shirts without paying. Male suspect is described as approximately 17 years old, wearing faded jeans, white t-shirt and baseball cap.  Matter still under investigation.

DRUG POSSESSION, MISCHIEF

On April 27 at 12:19 a.m. in Par View Estates in Brazeau County members on patrol conducted a vehicle stop.  Lone occupant of vehicle was breaching conditions of release the previous day, and a search of vehicle led to drugs being located.  30 year old Christopher Millet has been charged with three counts of Breaching conditions as well as possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Millett held for a hearing.  

At 5:37 p.m. at Canadian Tire a report of mischief after a dangerous toy purchased a month ago from Canadian Tire.  The item was a toy tube with 50 cars inside.  When opened, a rusty exacto blade wrapped in paper and tape was inside.  Canadian Tire advised.

THEFT FROM VEHICLES, THEFT UNDER $5,000

On April 29 at 10:35 a.m. on 52 Street a report came in of someone breaking into a silver ford Sport Track sometime over night.  Stolen items consisted of tools, a set of Adams golf clubs, Adidas golf shoes. 

At 11:43 a.m. in Brazeau County a report came in of the theft of a camera.  Camera is a reconyx, model SC950C.  Stolen from a shed on a lease site.  

TRESPASSING, THEFT, SHOPLIFTING

On April 30 at 9:49 a.m. at the landfill in Brazeau County a report was received of a person trespassing and causing damage to landfill. Ongoing issue.

Just after 3 p.m. in Brazeau County Whitecap resources reported a theft of ground cable/copper wire from lease site.  

And just before 4:30 p.m. on 50 Avenue a report came in of a male wearing a black jacket and grey pants stole candy and chocolate.  Members attended, video surveillance obtained.

BREAK AND ENTERS, FIREARMS OFFENCE, THEFT

On May 1 at 7:18 a.m. at the landfill in Brazeau County a report was received of a break and enter with the male still on location.  Members attended and arrested 28-year-old Douglas Payne for Break and Enter as well as several outstanding warrants.

At 8:21 a.m. on 46 Street at Rotary House a report came in of a break and enter into Rotary House sometime overnight.  Entry made by smashing a window on the east side.  A ladder was left leaning against the window.  Nothing missing.  Forensic Identification Section attended and examined the scene.

Just after 10:30 a.m. on Township Road 485 FORTIS Dispatch advised of an alarm at a substation in Violet Grove.  Entry made by cutting a hole in the fence.  A lock had then been cut off the control room door.  Copper ground wires stolen. 

Just before 11:30 a.m. on 50 Avenue in Brazeau County a report came in of an individual shooting a gun at pigeons in a neighbouring yard.  Several members attended location due to the potential seriousness of the offense.  Male located, Members advised of risks involved with shooting any type of firearm in a residential neighbourhood.  

At 1:26 p.m. on 49 Avenue in Drayton Valley a call came in of a garbage can being stolen from the back alley of the residence sometime overnight. 

Just before 4 p.m. at in Lodgepole a report came in of an open door at a mobile home trailer.  Did not appear that anyone was living there currently.  Members attended and determined the residence to be vacant.  Door secured. 

At 5:47 p.m. on 47 Avenue a report came in of a theft of a light bar off a grey 2011 Toyota Tacoma sometime over night.  Possible suspects. 

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

On May 2 just before 6:30 p.m. on 51 Avenue a report was received of a theft from a vehicle overnight.  Front passenger window broken and personal belongings and equipment.
