Street sweeping underway in Drayton Valley

Town of Drayton Valley road crews are busy trying to get a hold of the delay caused by a snowy April as the 2018 street cleanup continues.

Town officials say crews will focus on priority routes which include 50th Street, 50th Avenue and major collector streets. 

Once those areas are cleared crews will be moving on to neighbourhood sweeping. That work is expected to take several weeks to complete, and will depend on weather conditions.

The town is asking residents to watch for no parking signs in their area and to move their vehicles when crews are working in the area.
