RED DEER- Students thinking about their careers after high school might find their answers at this year’s CAREERexpo.

The annual event returns to Red Deer College on Thursday, and it will help students explore career options and the pathways to a great work life after graduation.

Hosted by CAREERS: The Next Generation, in partnership with RDC, the Central Alberta CAREERexpo is the largest student-focused career information event in the region.

The event remains an important part of the community’s commitment to preparing youth for successful lives and careers.

Last year, over 3,000 students attended the CAREERexpo.

This year, organizers along with the 100+ exhibitors, expect to see at least that many students from 37 schools in the region come through the doors throughout the day.

At the expo, junior and senior high school students will connect with future employers and representatives from a variety of university, college and technical institutions, including Red Deer College.

Students can engage with interactive displays, and they will be able to talk to employers and instructors to learn about careers that interest them.

They will also learn more about post-secondary requirements and pathways to achieve career success.
