Ponoka trail system closed from rising water levels on Battle River

The Diamond Willow Trail System in the Town of Ponoka has been temporarily closed due to rising water levels from spring run-off on the Battle River.
As a result, Town officials advise the public to exercise caution in the Battle River Valley and adjacent low-lying areas.
With trails currently marked and barriers in place, members of the public are reminded to obey all signs in the area.
