39-year-old man killed in crash near Drumheller

DRUMHELLER- A 39-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle crash near Drumheller. 

Emergency crews were called at about 7:15 p.m. on March 29 to the crash on Highway 9 East, about five kilometres east of the Highway 27 intersection, known as Morrin corner.

Investigation revealed an eastbound car had drifted into the opposite lane and collided head on with a westbound tractor trailer. 

The driver and lone occupant of the tractor trailer did not sustain any injuries.

The driver and lone occupant of the car, a 39-year-old man from Youngstown was pronounced deceased at the scene.
