Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools moving forward on St. Pat’s modernization

RED DEER- At their regular board meeting on Tuesday, Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools was given an update on some upcoming school projects.

The construction team is looking at budget numbers and determining what the modernization will look like at St. Pat’s Community School.

The final details on the scope of the work is to be formalized in mid-March.

However, construction is proceeding based on the removal of eight classrooms and the construction of 16 new classroom spaces, as well as some modifications to the existing school.

The board is still waiting to hear back on the status of their modular requests.

Once that has been determined, officials will move forward by getting tender documents, and development and building permits in place.
