Emergency crews respond to man pinned under logging truck

One person was transported by STARS after being pinned under a logging truck this morning.

At 7:12am, Clearwater Regional Fire crews were dispatched to the Sunpine Mainline Road. 

Assistant Fire Chief Evan Stewart says an operator was pinned under a logging truck.

Upon fire crews’ arrival EMS had already extricated the patient. fire crews then assisted EMS with patient care and established a STARS landing site. 

The individual was then transported by air to Edmonton in serious but stable condition.
