UPDATE: Riverside Meadows shooting suspect turns himself in

A man sought in relation to a shooting last month in Riverside Meadows has given himself up to police.

Red Deer RCMP say Kareem Lujmea Cummings, 25, turned himself in to Tuesday afternoon.

Cummings was wanted on a number of outstanding warrants regarding the incident in Riverside Meadows on January 18 in which shots were fired and bullets struck several residences and vehicles.

Charges against Cummings include wound with intent with a firearm, possess loaded restricted firearm, careless use of a firearm, possess handgun for dangerous purpose, carry concealed weapon, mischief under $5,000 (four counts), and fail to comply with conditions
