The Central Alberta Sting U19AA ringette team brought home the silver medal from the Tim Hortons Pacific Ring tournament in Vancouver last weekend.

The Sting posted three wins and one tie in round robin play.

They fell 7-4 to the Lower Mainland Thunder in Sunday’s gold medal game.

Goals for Sting were scored by Kianna Doyle (2), Brianna Abell and Rachel Vandervlis.

The Central Alberta Sting U14AA ringette club returned home from the Pacific Ring Tournament in Vancouver with a 2-3 record.

Early tournament wins included a 5-2 decision over PG Northern Lights and a 5-4 win over TORL Fusion on Friday.

Losses to Calgary White and Vancouver Lower Mainland on Saturday prevented a playoff return for the U14AA Sting, who were 2017 champions at Pacific Ring.

All games took place at the Richmond Ice Centre.
