Jan 30, 2018 | 8:08 AM

Rocky Mountain House RCMP have made an arrest in connection to a break and enter and theft that occurred at Caroline Supplies in the early morning hours of January 28.

RCMP say a forced entry was gained into the business by prying open the front door. Numerous items were taken including two firearms.

Mounties say 42-year-old Joel Baptiste of Clearwater County has been remanded into custody and will appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on February 6. He is charged with break, enter and theft, possession of break-in tools, theft under $5000, theft of firearms and breach of a recognizance.

Rocky RCMP thank the public for their support with respect to this investigation, which led to the initial warrant being released for the accused.
