Red Deer RCMP have identified the two people whose photographs were shared last week in connection to some sensitive mail.

Mounties say no charges have been laid at this time, but add that the investigation is ongoing.

RCMP say one male suspect and one female suspect were captured on surveillance cameras mailing the material from a Red Deer grocery store post office on Dec. 8. Mounties believe the suspects may have sent similar packages to other targets this year as well, but it's not known how many.

The victim in this particular case has told RCMP he does not recognize either suspect and isn’t aware of any reason why he'd be targeted.

Cst. Derek Turner with Red Deer RCMP says the material mailed was a ceramic sculpture of a penis.

Mounties say the action of repeatedly mailing offensive material to someone falls under the Criminal Code definition of Criminal Harassment.
