St. Francis of Assisi Middle School students are pleased to showcase the production Aladdin Jr. on January 26 and 27, 2018 at the Memorial Centre (4214 – 58 Street).

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and show starts at 7:15 p.m.

“Performing arts not only allow students to experience and understand other perspectives and viewpoints, but encourage them to see the world as a collective. It is important for students to put on these productions because it gives students an outlet to be creative and think outside the box, while also preparing them for the real world where the ability to meet deadlines, work collaboratively within a group to reach a goal, and express your own interpretations of a work,” said Director Robert Ford, at St. Francis of Assisi Middle School.

Tickets are $10 per person and $25 per household and are available at the door or the school office.

Aladdin Jr. is based on Disney’s film Aladdin. When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin JR., a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love. (
