An online survey is offering Drayton Valley and Brazeau County residents to have their say on what local RCMP priorities should be for the region.

In a joint effort between the RCMP, the Town of Drayton Valley and Brazeau County an eight question survey has been released in a bid to get feedback on policing priorities.

The questions range from where you live to your age, as well as what you would consider the top three policing priorities for the area.

Information collected by the survey will then be reviewed and considered by the RCMP, County and Town Councils.

The survey is available online until February 9 at

The survey can also be handed in or mailed to the Drayton Valley RCMP detachment, the Brazeau County Administration Building or the Drayton Valley Civic Centre.

This is the second year the survey has been done, with the first being completed in December 2016.

MP Jim Eglinski won't seek re-election in 2019
